Dolphins re-sign Pennington, pick up Dansby in free agency

Quarterback Chad Pennington will be back with the Dolphins for at least one more season. The veteran QB signed a one-year contract worth $2.5 million (more if he starts). This is good news because a team needs two good quarterbacks in the NFL these. It's still uncertain which Chad will start, but both men seem to be supportive of the other if the other one should get the nod.

In free agency news, the Dolphins acquired linebacker Karlos Dansby in free agency. The former Cardinal signed a five-year deal worth $43 million, making him the highest paid defender on the team. This is a good pickup for the Dolphins because the Dolphins needed a linebacker and Dansby, 28, has a few good years left in him.
