Boston re-joins Dolphins

From the Miami Herald:

Former Pro Bowl wide receiver David Boston turned down a chance to make more money elsewhere in hopes of getting his career back on track with the Dolphins.

Boston re-signed with Miami, getting a one-year contract for the veteran minimum of $540,000 with incentives as part of the contract.

This is good news, as it takes pressure off of Chris Chambers and opens up the offense a little more, assuming Boston has completely recovered from his injury.

Dolphins talk with Traylor, Law

The Dolphins have reportedly talked with DT Keith Traylor and CB Ty Law. The team is looking to Traylor to bolster depth at defensive tackle, where incumbents Tim Bowens and Larry Chester are both recovering from injuries. The Dolphins' interest in Ty Law stems from Patrick Surtain's trade and Will Poole's injury. Law supposedly does not want to take a pay cut or sign a one-year contract, even though he is still not fully recovered from a foot injury that kept him out of the last half of the season and playoffs.

Poole injured, may miss season

Cornerback Will Poole injured his ACL in practice and could miss the entire season. Poole was a leading candidate to replace Patrick Surtain after Surtain was traded.

This is unfortunate and hopefully not an omen of an injury-filled season for the Dolphins like it was last year.
