Dolphins end season with loss to Patriots

Despite playing without their top three receivers, the New England Patriots dominated the Miami Dolphins, 38-7. The Dolphins avoided a shutout by scoring a touchdown with two minutes left in the game. Miami ends the season 7-9, the same disappointing record as last year.

There's been talk the last two weeks that both coach Sparano and QB Chad Henne may be on their way out over the offseason. Perhaps it was a sign that Henne made way for Tyler Thigpen during the game after an awful 6-of-16 performance. Thigpen played only slightly better, completing 10 out of 21 passes. Sadly, Thigpen was also the team's rushing leader with 21 yards, seven more than Ronnie Brown.

I'm just glad this season is finally over. It has been a big disappointment, to say the least. Offensively, the team wasted the talents of Brandon Marshall, Ronnie Brown, and Ricky Williams. The defense played well enough for a playoff-caliber team, but they were inconsistent throughout the year.
