Dolphins re-sign Holliday

Defensive tackle Vonnie Holliday signed a four-year, $20 million contract with the Dolphins. Holliday would have become a free agent if he and the team had not agreed to a new contract by March 2.

Some other veterans are not expected to receive the same treatment and will either be asked to restructure their contracts or get cut. They include Joey Harrington, Seth McKinney, and Kevin Carter.

Congratulations to the Colts

It's nice to see Peyton Manning finally win the big one. He'll no longer be the second greatest quarterback of all time (behind Dan Marino, of course) to not have won a Super Bowl.

Mueller will stay

Dolphins GM Randy Mueller will stay with the team for now. There was speculation that Mueller may become the GM of the Tennessee Titans, but he was not chosen as one of the three finalists for a second round of interviews.
