Injured Dolphins can't handle Bears

The Miami Dolphins weren't able to overcome their injuries, falling to the Chicago Bears 16-0. It was the first shutout loss for Miami in nine years.
The Bears recorded six sacks, three of them by Julius Peppers, who was facing Jake Long, playing hurt from a shoulder injury. Starting center Jay Berger also missed the game due to a knee injury.
Tyler Thigpen failed to follow up on his impressive debut. He completed 17 of 29 passes for 187, but many of those completions and yards came in the fourth quarter after the outcome was decided. The rushing offense did even worse. Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams combined for just 11 rushing yards. Making matters worse, WR Brandon Marshall left the game with a hamstring injury.
The only good news is that the Dolphins have more time to recover until their next game on Nov. 28 against Oakland.
