Dolphins stun Vikings, 14-10

It wasn't pretty, but the Miami Dolphins managed to stay undefeated (2-0) by forcing Brett Favre into having his worst day as a Viking and beating Minnesota, 14-10. The Vikings outgained the Dolphins, 364 yards to 226, and had the ball 12 minutes longer, but Miami intercepted Favre three times and forced a fumble that was recovered for a touchdown. The Dolphins' other score came on a Chad Henne pass to Brian Hartline.

Despite the ugliness and poor play, I was happier with this win than last week's. The Dolphins showed that they could win close games against good teams when they aren't playing well, an attribute that helped them win the AFC East two years ago. Although I'd prefer the team play better, I felt this was a good sign.
