Dolphins crushed by Patriots in mistake-filled loss

As if it wasn't bad enough that Miami lost 41-14 to a division rival, the Dolphins helped put the Patriots in the record books. New England became the first team in NFL history to score on an interception return, a kickoff return, a blocked field goal, a run and a pass in the same game. What allowed that on the Dolphins side was a blocked punt, blocked field goal, and four interceptions thrown.

The only bright spot was that statistically, the Dolphins actually performed better than the Patriots, but none of that makes a difference after a 41-14 loss. The team needs to regroup during the upcoming bye week if they want to prove that they are playoff caliber.
