Dolphins remain winless at home after controversial loss

The Miami Dolphins should have won their first home game of 2010, but an officiating blunder allowed the Pittsburgh Steelers to kick a field for a 23-22 victory over the Dolphins. On the play before the game-winning field goal, Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger seemingly fumbled the ball. However, because it was a late call, the officials didn't know which team would have gained possession, so the ball was awarded to the Steelers. Lame!

The game was close throughout. Both defenses kept the opposing runners in check, but Roethlisberger wound up throwing for 302 yards and two touchdowns while Chad Henne answered with 257 yards and a TD.

The Dolphins showed that they are competitive with the best teams in the league, but in the NFL, you don't get any points for being close. Hopefully, the team will take this experience and use it to propel them in the last 10 games.
