Dolphins beat Packers in OT

Two weeks after special teams embarrassed the Miami Dolphins on national TV, Dan Carpenter kicked a 44-yard field goal in overtime to win the game, 23-20 over the Green Bay Packers. The Dolphins were led by their running attack. Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams rushed a combined 32 times for 137 yards. Chad Henne had a mediocre day statistically, but he threw for two touchdowns and only one interception.

Green Bay was riddled with injuries, and QB Aaron Rodgers was listed as doubtful to play in the game earlier this week. However, Rodgers did start and helped the Packers tie the game at the end of regulation and send it to overtime.

Next up, we find out how good the Dolphins really are when they play Pittsburgh, arguably the best team in the NFL right now.
