Dolphins upset Chargers
In successive games, the Miami Dolphins have beaten two of the top teams in the AFC, evening their record at 2-2. Today, it was a 17-10 win over the San Diego Chargers. Ronnie Brown scored another touchdown after taking a direct snap from center on his way to 125 yards on 24 carries. Chad Pennington had an efficient passing day, completing 22 of 29 attempts for 228 and a touchdown. The Dolphins had the ball for over 36 minutes.
Ball control and good defense helped shut down the NFL's highest scoring offense going into the game. The Dolphins held LaDainian Tomlinson to 35 yard on 12 carries. They also stuffed the Chargers at the one-yard line to preserve their lead in the fourth quarter.
