Offense shows life in first preseason loss

Although the Dolphins suffered their first loss of the preseason, 31-28 to the Tampa Bay Bucs, the first string offense scored its first two touchdowns. This was after Trent Green's first pass attempt of the game was intercepted and returned for a touchdown. The offense's second touchdown came on a trick statue-of-liberty play. Trent Green finished with 7 completions in 11 pass attempts for 42 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Rookie John Beck played the entire second half and completed 11 of 22 passes for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns.

  • Since LA does not have a team I've adopted the Seattle Seahawks but I adore Trent Green. Don't know why really. Must be his boyish good looks and his hard-luck type of career. I wish him all the luck with the Dolphins. Go Hawks! Sorry.
