Ted Ginn Jr. saves Dolphins

I never thought I'd write that headline, but Ted Ginn Jr. did indeed save the Dolphins today. Ginn became the first Dolphins player ever to return two kicks for touchdowns in a 30-25 victory over the NY Jets. His 100-yard and 101-yard returns in the third quarter were the difference in a game that the Jets dominated statistically.

New York outgained Miami in yardage by greater than 3-to-1 margin, and had 23 first downs to the Dolphins' 10. The Jets defense held Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams to 54 yards on 19 carries with no touchdowns. Chad Henne completed 12 of 21 passes for 112 yards.

  • Hey there,

Waiting for your take on yesterday's game. They are my team too and while not the sole focus of my blog like yours is, I do post about them from time to time.

For me what killed us yesterday was the lack of pass rush. Brady had all day to go to his receivers and he is just too good for that. The one time I believe it was Starks got to him, it stopped their drive, but we need to do better of putting pressure on the QB with our D-line.

Anyway, check out my blog at

    Cheers.
