Dolphins win third straight, Colts lose

Despite the offense's best efforts to lose the game, the Dolphins defense, led by Jason Taylor, led the team to its third straight victory, 24-20 over the Minnesota Vikings. Taylor returned an interception for a touchdown and forced two fumbles. Taylor has now scored seven career touchdowns, tied for most in a career by a defensive lineman.

On the offensive side of the ball, Joey Harrington went 26 for 42 for 254 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The running game, however, netted MINUS-3 yards! Ronnie Brown gained only two yards on 12 carries. In the end, a win is a win, but the defense has clearly been carrying the offense through the team's recent victories.

On another note, the Dallas Cowboys handed the Indianapolis Colts its first loss of the season, preserving the 1972 Dolphins' perfect record. Yay, let the champagne corks pop.
