Dolphins whip previously unbeaten Bears
You know what they say about the NFL -- on any given Sunday, any team can win. The Dolphins certainly proved the axiom true as they thumped the previously 7-0 Chicago Bears, 31-13. The Dolphins were 2-touchdown underdogs, and I didn't hear anyone give them a chance.
The game wasn't as lopsided as the score indicated. The Dolphins victory was mainly the result of six Bears turnovers, including a Jason Taylor interception that was returned for a touchdown. Joey Harrington had a lackluster day, completing half of his 32 attempts for just 137 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. However, Ronnie Brown rushed for a career high 157 yards on 29 carries.
If the Dolphins played every game with the same intensity that they showed today, they'd be 6-2 instead of 2-6 today. At least they made sure that the Bears wouldn't go undefeated this season and match the 1972 Dolphins' feat.

I live in Chicago. You would have had great joy if you could have seen what I saw. A river of depressed and beaten souls poured out of Soldier Field and into the streets. They got angry and showed road rage as they left parking lots. It was entertaining to say the least.
Dolphins played a great game, but the Bears just made it so easy for them at times.
