Dolphins upset Chargers, 23-21
The Dolphins defense held LaDainian Tomlinson to 75 yards on 21 carries to stun the San Diego Chargers, 23-21. Gus Frerotte completed 14 of 22 passes for 229 yards, 2 touchdowns, and no interceptions. Chris Chambers caught 8 of the passes (and both touchdowns) for 121 yards, marking his third straight game with over 100 yards receiving. The running game wasn't as productive. Ricky Williams carried the ball 11 times for 30 yards, and Ronnie Brown added 11 more carries for 28 yards.
Some thought the Chargers took the Dolphins too lightly and looked ahead to their next game against the Colts, but I'll take a win any way it comes.
