Mueller says he'd keep Ricky Williams

In an interview with the Miami Herald, general manager Randy Mueller said that barring a staggering offer, he would like to keep both Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown.

''I know this: I'm for keeping as many good players as we can,'' said Mueller, former GM for the New Orleans Saints. ``So if it works out to where we do have cap space and everybody is happy with both [Williams and rookie running back Ronnie Brown], I'm for keeping them. It's too hard to get good players in this league. So unless you're getting a lot of value for them, or just have some fatal flaw that you've identified, I'm for keeping them.''

As for quarterbacks, Mueller was ambiguous when it came to the futures of the QBs on today's roster, but he said he likes to draft a quarterback every year because you can't have enough of them.
