Dolphins are in first place... for now

At 2-1, the Dolphins are currently in sole possession of first place in the AFC East! The New England Patriots are half a game behind, followed by the Jets and Bills at 1-3.

Yes, it's still early in the season, but who could have predicted the Dolphins being in first place after fours weeks? Clearly, the Dolphins still need to improve to have a shot at a winning record and possibly the playoffs, but that is likely to happen because (1) Ricky Williams begins playing in the fifth game, (2) Ronnie Brown will get more experience, and (3) the already good defense will have even more time to become accustomed to the new schemes.
