Dolphins sign Carey, Crowder
The Miami Dolphins staved off losing two players to free agency when they signed offensive tackle Vernon Carey and linebacker Channing Crowder to new contracts. Carey's deal is worth $42 million over six years, but the amount of Crowder's three-year contract was not disclosed.
The Dolphins also signed safety Gibril Wilson, who was released by the Raiders. Wilson's deal is worth $27.5 million over five years.
